About this Event
ME+WE: Heart Works is a series of 8 free creative workshops where art, wellbeing and health come together in a relaxed and welcoming community space.
Each session has a different theme connected to the heart — from strength, roots and emotions to nourishment, dreams and community. Through craft activities, conversation and reflection, we will explore not only physical heart health, but also the things that help us feel stronger, calmer and more connected to others.
🎨 Create
Try different arts and crafts activities including collage, textiles, stitching, beads, mixed media and nature-based art.
💛 Talk about how you feel
There will be a friendly space to reflect on emotions, stress, personal strengths and wellbeing.
❤️ Learn about heart health
We will explore simple, practical ideas about stress, movement, food, relaxation and everyday habits that can support your health.
🤝 Meet people and feel connected
The sessions are designed to be social and welcoming — a chance to meet others, share experiences and enjoy creating together.
🩺 Find out about health and wellbeing support
If you are unsure how the NHS works or where to go for support, we can help explain local services, social prescribing and other community support, and help you connect with the right service if needed.
