Thursday is a weird day. The week isn't over, but you are.
Mental Reset is one hour at the end of the workday where nobody needs anything from you.
You come in, you lie down on a mat, you get a blanket and a bolster, and for the next sixty minutes your only job is to listen.
I play crystal singing bowls, guide you through a short meditation so your mind has something to do besides replay the day, and offer Reiki while you rest.
Most people tell me some version of the same thing afterward: the noise in their head finally turned down.
Not off: down. Enough that they can go home and actually be home, instead of answering emails in their head at the dinner table.
You don't need experience. You don't need to know how to meditate, and you definitely don't need to “clear your mind.”
If you could do that, you wouldn't need this class. First-timers are in the room most weeks.
There are ten spots. That's deliberate. It's a small room, I can see everyone in it, and it never feels like an event. It feels like an exhale.

You don't have to believe in anything for an hour of sound and rest to do you some good.
