Your certification last for 3 years post completion of your course.
In partnership with Art4Space, the mental health awareness and training company It’s a Playground will be facilitating the internationally recognised Mental Health First Aid (England) course in Lambeth, London.
This is the perfect opportunity to update your skills and connect with other MHFAiders IN-PERSON.
The crew at Art4Space will also be kicking off the day by running us through a creative mindful activity, to support our wellbeing.
Your certification technically lasts for 3 years post completion of your course, however, it's best practice to refresh your skills and mental health awareness knowledge much more regularly than that!
It lasts from 9 am - 1.30 pm which includes additional personal or workplace action planning time.
What to expect:
• Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities
• Each session is built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan
• We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn
Cost and takeaways:

- A digital manual to refer to whenever you need it
- A quick reference card and lanyard for the MHFA action plan
- A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health
- Some goodies which will also help raise awareness for the importance of looking after our health (mental, physical and social)
- An invitation to join the Association of Mental Health First Aiders
- All Mental Health First Aiders that train with Art4Space and It’s a Playground get access to monthly online wellbeing sessions for the duration of your certification
- We will add some of our own wellbeing tips and exercises to help support your wellbeing
