Megan will be in conversation for an intimate Q&A, sharing the inspiration behind her latest novel, her writing journey, and the stories that have captivated readers across Australia. The evening will conclude with a book signing, giving you the chance to meet Megan and have your copy personally signed.
Described as 'The Good Place' meets a Tradwife TikTok account, The Waiting Place is a thought-provoking, emotional story about identity, unlikely friendships, forbidden romance, and finding the courage to choose your own path. Following three teenagers navigating an extraordinary afterlife, it's a novel that will stay with you long after the final page.
Megan Jacobson is an award-winning author, journalist, and former TV scriptwriter whose acclaimed novels have been shortlisted for multiple Australian literary awards. She currently works as an ABC News journalist and TikTok producer alongside her writing career.
