🇬🇧To help strengthen Calabria’s presence in new foreign markets, the Megale Hellas Diving Center in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica will be present at the Dive-Expo trade fair in Belgium for the fourth time. The event will take place over the weekend of December 5–6, 2026, in Antwerp.
Dive-Expo was founded in 2014 by Stefan Panis, an passionate diver and underwater photographer. Since 2025, he has organized the fair alongside his daughter, Lina. Through Dive-Expo, their goal is to create a platform dedicated to all divers and water sports enthusiasts, an accessible and affordable event designed to inspire everyone from beginners to technical divers and freedivers.
To raise awareness of the rich historical heritage lying on the seabed of the lower Ionian coast of Calabria, we will be participating in the 2026 edition not only with our own stand (n. 42), but also as speakers!
Roberta Eliodoro will share the stories behind some of the many historical shipwrecks resting on the Calabrian seabed, in a talk titled “Along the route of the shipping convoys during WW2: historical shipwrecks in Calabria, Southern Italy”.

WHERE TO FIND US - Megale Hellas will be at DivE-Expo in Belgium in 2026 at STAND 42, at Antwerp Expo (Jan Van Rijswijcklaan 191, Antwerp, Belgium).
The trade fair is open on Saturday and Sunday, December 5-6:
- Saturday from 09:30 to 18:00.
- Sunday from 09:30 to 17:00.

Per contribuire a rafforzare la presenza della Calabria all'estero, il Megale Hellas Diving Center di Marina di Gioiosa Ionica parteciperà, per la quarta volta, alla fiera Dive-Expo in Belgio. L'evento si terrà ad Anversa nel week-end del 5-6 dicembre 2026.
Dive-Expo è stata fondata nel 2014 da Stefan Panis, appassionato subacqueo e fotografo. Dal 2025, organizza la fiera insieme alla figlia Lina. L'obiettivo del Dive-Expo è creare una piattaforma dedicata a tutti i subacquei e agli appassionati di sport acquatici: un evento accessibile e alla portata di tutti, pensato per ispirare chiunque, dai principianti ai subacquei tecnici.
Per far conoscere il ricco patrimonio storico custodito nei fondali della Calabria, parteciperemo all'edizione 2026 non solo con un nostro stand (il n. 42), ma anche in qualità di speaker!
Roberta Eliodoro racconterà le storie che si celano dietro alcuni dei numerosi relitti storici che giacciono nei fondali calabresi, in un intervento dal titolo: “Lungo la rotta dei convogli navali durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale: relitti storici in Calabria, nel sud Italia”.
