Join us at The Buxton for an intimate evening with winemaker Anna Martens.
This April, we are honoured to host winemaker Anna Martens of Vino di Anna to The Buxton. We will be selling a small number of very special vintages by the glass, in both 75ml and 125ml sizes so you can experience the full range of wines.
Meet the winemaker, drink incredible vintages from £5 a glass, and graze on Scicilian bar fare, like fresh arancini and fried sardines
About Anna Martens & Vino di Anna:
Anna Martens is an Australian-born oenologist with over 30 years’ experience, and co-founder of Vino di Anna on the northern slopes of Sicily’s Mount Etna.
Anna and her husband winemaker Eric Narioo work organically with old vines, crafting minimal-intervention wines that express the powerful volcanic terroir. She worked in Tuscany before meeting Eric and starting their journey in 2008, going onto make beautiful wines using native yeasts and no additives. Their passion, love and labour that goes into not only their wines but also their land stewardship results in authentic, exciting wine that encapsulates the dramatic terrior beautifully.
