Meet the Experts
Pierre-François “Pef” Tissot is co-founder of In&motion, the French company behind the smart airbag technology used to protect riders across motorcycling, mountain biking, skiing and equestrian sports. Based in Annecy in the French Alps, In&motion powers the airbag vests of 20 partner brands and more than 50 products worldwide—including trusted names in equestrian safety.
An engineer by training and an expert in CEN safety standards, Pef leads In&motion’s business, sales and marketing and now heads the company’s U.S. operations from Southern California. A father of four and lifelong fan of anything involving a ride, Pef brings a unique combination of engineering expertise, safety knowledge and passion for active sports.
Kate Jackson is Head of USA & Canada for Horse Pilot, the French brand specializing in technical apparel and innovative safety solutions for equestrian athletes.
A lifelong equestrian and former dressage rider and judge, Kate brings extensive experience in business development, luxury retail and brand building. After living and working in France for more than 20 years, she now leads Horse Pilot’s North American growth from Atlanta, developing the brand’s retail network, partnerships, ambassadors and market strategy.
As an American-Canadian with deep ties to both North America and France, Kate is passionate about bringing European innovation to North American riders and helping advance safety across equestrian sport.
