Join us at House of Stories Morpeth to celebrate the launch of Chloe Bell’s first book, Wild Grey Ocean. Meet Chloe and hear about the inspiration, places and stories behind her debut collection of haunting short stories.
Set in the coastal town of Blyth, these five stories follow the living into places where the dead have never quite left. Behind familiar doors and along streets darkened by sea mist, ordinary lives are disturbed by things that grief alone cannot explain.
Tender, unsettling and steeped in the North East, Wild Grey Ocean explores the people we lose, the places that shape us, and what happens when something we thought was gone begins to find its way home.
