On Saturday, October 3rd, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Wild For Life inc. will be joining us for an interactive wildlife presentation featuring Bo the Beaver and several of her ambassador animal friends.
What You'll Learn:
🦫 Meet Bo the Beaver and her ambassador animal friends up close.
🐾 Learn about wildlife rehabilitation and the incredible work that goes into caring for injured and orphaned native wildlife.
🌿 Discover why beavers are one of nature's most important ecosystem engineers. Learn how their dams create wetlands, improve water quality, reduce flooding and drought impacts and provide habitat for birds, fish, amphibians, pollinators, and countless other species.
Suggested Donation: $10 per family
All donations will benefit Wild for Life, Inc. and support wildlife rehabilitation efforts, including their "Raising the Lodge" campaign. This exciting project will create a dedicated Wildlife Center featuring both a full-service wildlife clinic and an education center. The new facility will provide accessible veterinary care for wildlife rehabilitators throughout our region while expanding opportunities to educate and inspire our community about New York's native wildlife.
