About this Event
Researchers have said that Meditation and Shamanic Practices were pivotal to our cognitive evolution and date back over 35,000-70,000 years or more, with evidence found in over 90% of the lands where humans have lived.
In essence they could be described as ways of accessing our psyche, including deep layers of our psyche that is the subconscious, supra-conscious, nature consciousness and universal consciousness.
This accessing can be for creativity, for art, for music, for stories, they can be - as with the focus of this training - for assisting self-healing and wellbeing, in ourselves, in others, in society, in the world around us.
The ability through gently guided practices to access the subconscious, can allow us to find and release patterns in the subconscious that are having a great impact on our inner and outer worlds. From experience, the roots of what we are experiencing in our lives can come so deep within the psyche, it could take years, if ever to find them on a conscious thinking mind level, yet we can find them in gently held subconscious states of meditation and awenydd shamanic practices, and once procesed, transformed and cleared, in hindsight, makes perfect sense. And their transformation tends to come with a gift of empowerment in some way from within, assisting us be our truest selves, and to experience - even for a moment, even for many moments - our natural flow of wellbeing.
Often worked with when everything else has been tried, and more is found to be needed - they can also be worked with at any time - and as a complement to the wellbeing practices you and/or your clients are finding benefiical.
These practices are about finding our own inner medicine - how we are the medicine really - they can be brought to assist in an array of more simple and more complex helath conditions.
Some examples of patterns worked with have included persistent chronic pain, anxiety, depression, recovery from addiction, recovery from abuse including domestic violence and childhood experiences of this, recovery from conflict, recovery from other traumatic events, PTSD, suicidal ideation, complementary supporting the medical process in cases of cancer, building confidence, navigating and change life patterns, navigating being neurodiverse in a neurotypical world, moving to healthier relationships, healthier workplaces, healthier relationships with food, with our body, with eachother.
The trainings are descibed as awenydd shamanic, as here, as in these lands, awenydd is the name, similar to the name shaman, for someone accessing this inner, nature and universal wisdom - the worlds of the subconsicous, conscious and supraconscious - known here as the awen.
From our perspective, all the great teachers, who spoke the truth accessed this river of wisdom, and brought it back to share. So precious, some made this wisdom these teachers shared into many religions. This wisdom can continue to flow and be accessed by anyone, anytime, any place- especially with the practices and space to assist. If something can be found to be true, there is the potential for this to be found to be true by anyone :)
