Medical retina & uveitis (2 CPD points)

This event is for Optometrists only, attracting 2 CPD points in total with the evening being split into 2 parts.

The first part of the evening will be a presentation providing an overview of core medical retina and uveitis, delivered by Ms. Farzana Rahman, Consultant Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in Medical Retina and Cataract Surgery. She will cover the recognition, assessment and management of common retinal and inflammatory eye conditions, with emphasis on practical learning relevant to optometric practice.

The second part of the evening will be a discussion workshop focusing on case discussions and an interactive Q&A, providing opportunities to explore clinical decision-making, referral considerations and the application of learning to patient care.

This session is suitable for optometrists who encounter patients with medical retinal or uveitic conditions and wish to develop their knowledge, clinical confidence and understanding of appropriate management and referral pathways.
