Join us at the Goethe-Institut Toronto for the next edition of our Media Mingle series in April, where we continue our journey into the diverse world of popular German music.
Each month, our Media Lounge becomes a space for cultural discovery and community connection. This time, we will highlight some of Germany’s most iconic artists and songs from the 1990s, a diverse transition period blending alternative rock, grunge, hip-hop, and pop while giving way to the rise of electronic sounds.
We will introduce each featured artist, followed by a listening session with music videos showcasing their work. Lyrics will be provided in both German and English to help you engage with the music. Afterwards, you will have the chance to discuss the music and share your thoughts with fellow attendees.
Combining music, visuals, and conversation, this event offers a unique experience of Germany's innovative music scene.
