The Mobile Free Pharmacy provides free over-the-counter (OTC) products to individuals and families across North Carolina. Mobile Free Pharmacy events offer essential medications - such as pain and allergy relievers, cold and cough medicine, digestive aids, vitamins, children's medications, and more - at no cost to participants.
NC MedAssist collaborates with community partners to organize these free events throughout the state. Some events may also include additional community services, such as free health screenings and vaccinations.
Mobile Free Pharmacy events are open to all North Carolina residents who are at least 18 years old. There are no other eligibility requirements.
Walk-ins are welcome! Registration is not required. To support a faster and more convenient experience, individuals may pre-order items online in advance and pick them up at the event. Participants may pick up orders for others who are not able to attend.
The online form opens November 11th, 2026 for preorders.
