In response to positive feedback from previous professional learning, this programme addresses the need for greater clarity and support in developing early number sense. It focuses on how children in Progression Step 1 build understanding of number through playful, meaningful experiences.

The programme supports practitioners to reflect on provision, explore evidence-informed pedagogy, and engage in professional enquiry to strengthen practice. It aligns with Swansea priorities around high-quality teaching, collaboration and improving learner outcomes.
