About this Event
Meanderings is a gentle, reflective weekly gathering for anyone navigating the complexities of 21st‑century life.
It’s a spiritually curious space where people of all faiths and none can explore themes around hope, resilience, connection and community. All who come with an open mind, tolerant and enquiring whilst respectful and and curious are welcome!
Each week we meander through a different theme and have conversations inspired by philosophy, science, faith traditions, fiction, poetry, TV, nature and hope to find our own personal answers as to what sustains us. There are readings, poetry, music and tables covered in quotes to ponder. In recent weeks we've look at ideas around patience, freedom and gratitude considering what they really mean to us and what that might mean for our hopes for the future.
Conversations are gentle and pressure‑free. You’re welcome to speak, listen, or simply sit with the ideas, there's no need to contribute and your listening and presence are as valued whether you share anything verbally or not.
We sit in a small group at tables, there's step free access and a hearing loop.
