A Bracelet-Making Workshop Inspired by the Buddhist Metta PrayerFacilitator: Jill Lahnstein
This hands-on beading workshop invites you to turn the Metta prayer we say at SSC every Sunday into something you can hold, wear, and share.
You will make two bracelets: one for yourself (May I be filled with loving kindness) and one to give to someone else (May you be filled with loving kindness). In bracelet form, the Metta prayer becomes a circle with no beginning or end, creating a constant flow of loving kindness.
All beads and stringing materials will be provided. You’ll explore the bead bar and choose from a carefully curated selection of beads, each expressing the intentions of the Metta prayer in its own way.
No beading experience is necessary; Jill will guide you through each step of the process.
