About this Event
Ever fancied making your own video game? The video game sector is larger than film and music combined. We’re going to power you up for a future of immersive play with this brand new session that includes character creation, platform designing, creating and customising pixel artwork and animating sprites.
During this session, participants will have the opportunity to connect with themes and topics displayed at the Whitworth Art Gallery to draw out narratives and develop digital storytelling skills.
Manchester Artist Teacher Collective (MATC) brings together artist-teachers from secondary schools and colleges across Manchester, alongside gallery educators from Manchester Art Gallery, the Whitworth, and HOME. Together, we collaborate with art educators, local artists, studios, and gallery spaces to enrich creative practice across the city.
Our events are for teachers, artists, and anyone interested in visual art education.
