***********************************************************
Jeramie and Alyssa are Brazilian Zouk dancers, instructors, performers, and community organizers based in Atlanta, GA. Dance partners and collaborators for nearly four years, they share a passion for helping dancers develop strong foundations, find their own movement, and grow within the Zouk community.
As competitors, they are proud to be Rising Stars World Champions, an achievement that reflects their dedication to training, musicality, technique, and partnership.
Together, they lead From the Ground Up Zouk, with a mission to strengthen and expand the Atlanta Brazilian Zouk community. Their mission is simple: for everyone to feel seen and welcome, in the spirit of building community.
Through weekly classes, private lessons, a performance team, monthly socials, and frequent weekend events, Jeramie & Alyssa create opportunities for dancers to train, perform, connect, and continue leveling up.
Their teaching philosophy is rooted in strong fundamentals, intentional technique, musicality, connection, and helping dancers understand why they move—not just how.
Above all, they are committed to creating a space where dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels can feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to grow—both as dancers and as members of the community.
If you’re in ATL on a Wednesday, come check out her Fundamentals class! These technique freaks will show you how strong your foundations can be!
