Create Dunwoody is inviting businesses, families, schools, nonprofits, neighborhood groups and individuals to help transform the Greater Dunwoody Village area this October during the third annual Dunwoody Scarecrow Showdown and the new Pumpkin Art Exhibit.Creatively designed scarecrows and pumpkins will appear throughout the Greater Dunwoody Village Area throughout October, including a prominent display along the fence at the historic Cheek Spruill House.
Space along the Cheek Spruill House fence is limited, and participants are encouraged to register early.
Participants can decorate sets of three plastic pumpkins in varying sizes and enter their creations in the exhibit purchased through Create Dunwoody. (No real pumpkins allowed due to deterioration). Scarecrow kits are available at Ace Hardware.
Entry fees are $50 for individuals, community groups and nonprofits and $100 for businesses. Free for Village Businesses.
