Join St. Croix Valley Opera for a fall Master Class with New York artist manager Sarah Stephens, co-founder of Stephens Nicolson Artists Management. Most master classes put a singer in front of a voice teacher. This one puts them in front of the person who decides who gets signed. Sarah will lead a live mock audition with real-time feedback for a small group of singers, followed by an open Q&A on artist management and navigating the professional opera industry, the part of a singing career almost nobody teaches.
🎤 Singers: We have 5 free singer slots open for this class! If selected, you'll perform two arias for Sarah, your choice first and hers second, and receive real feedback in front of the room. Bring two printed copies each of your resume, bio, repertoire list of five arias, and headshot, plus your five arias in a three-ring binder, and dress as you would for a professional audition. Apply through scvopera.org/master-class. Applications close October 1.
🎟 Everyone else: Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students (promo code STUDENT). Sustainers Circle members save 20%, look for an email with your discount code. Space is limited to just 40 seats!
