Az est emlékezetes élményt ígérő találkozás a bachi életmű egyik legnevezetesebb műcsoportjával és megismerkedés a japán historikus mozgalom élenjáró együttesével. Az 1990-ben Masaaki Suzuki által alapított, világhírű Bach Collegium Japan magyarországi bemutatkozó koncertjén a Keresztély Lajos őrgrófnak ajánlott, „számos hangszerre írt” Brandenburgi versenyek teljes sorozata hangzik el. A barokk zeneirodalom népszerű és kultikus műveinek megszólaltatását ezen az estén a csembalóművészként és karmesterként egyaránt mind elismertebb, kiváló és imponálóan szerteágazó tevékenységű muzsikus, az alapító fia, Masato Suzuki irányítja.//
The evening promises a memorable encounter with one of the most celebrated groups of works in Bach’s oeuvre, as well as an introduction to the leading ensemble of the Japanese historically informed performance movement. At Bach Collegium Japan’s first concert in Hungary, the world-renowned ensemble founded in 1990 by Masaaki Suzuki will perform the complete set of Brandenburg Concertos, which were dedicated to Margrave Christian Ludwig and scored for “several instruments”. On this occasion, the performance of these popular and iconic works from the Baroque repertoire will be directed by the excellent musician Masato Suzuki – the founder’s son – who is engaged in impressively wide-ranging activities and enjoys recognition both as a harpsichordist and a conductor.
