Join Global Paint for Charity at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds parking lot on Saturday, November 7, 2026, to celebrate our 15th Annual America Recycles Day (ARD) in Lawrenceville, GA 30045.Gwinnett County residents will have the opportunity to drop off items that are typically more difficult to recycle, such as electronics, latex and oil-based paint, and tires. It is one of the most significant recycling events and a major initiative to keep our county beautiful and sustainable, consistently attracting 3,000–5,000 attendees and partner organizations. We expect to recycle over 6,000 gallons of paint in just three hours during the event.
Have you done any renovations to your home recently? Do you have leftover or unused paint from your projects that you can't get rid of? Well, we have some good news for you! Celebrate America Recycles Day 2026 by bringing your leftover paint for proper disposal while supporting our free paint donation programs worldwide. Donate your leftover paint and help us change lives and beautify the world, one gallon at a time.
Here are some essential things to remember before you come:
Oil-based and latex paint will be accepted, limited to 10 gallons per vehicle (full or empty cans and buckets are acceptable).
Please ensure the lids of all containers are tightly sealed (buckets and cans).
Electronics (monitors, TVs, and printers).
Paper (shredding limited to five copier boxes).
Tires are limited to eight per vehicle. No dealer tires will be accepted.
General Precautions:
All attendees should remain in their vehicles at all times.
Items and materials to be recycled should be placed in disposable containers or boxes.
Containers (buckets or cans of paint) or packs of quarts should be placed in the trunks or backs of vehicles, where they will be removed by Global Paint representatives. Containers will not be returned.

Since 1997, waste management agencies and communities have come together in November to celebrate America Recycles Day. It is a day to get our neighbors, friends, and community leaders excited about what can be accomplished when we all work together to keep our planet clean and beautiful. This annual event is an opportunity to make recycling a unique and meaningful experience while encouraging environmentally friendly practices throughout the year.
