Intro to Mantrailing WorkshopThis event is for children from 7 to 17 years of age interested in getting to know more about dog training and dog sports. This 3.5-hour workshop will focus on the dog sport, Mantrailing. Mantrailing is where dogs search for a specific “missing” person by using their unique scent to locate them. In this workshop, kids will learn about the dog’s amazing sniffing abilities, leash handling, and teaching a dog how to play this activity. Dogs attending this event must be kid- and dog-friendly. If your child does not have a dog or an appropriate dog for this workshop, we can provide one.
We will work both inside and outside (depending on the weather) at our training campus in Lawrenceville.
No prior experience is required for the kids or dogs in attendance.
Guardians are welcome to attend the event, but are required for children under 13.
Tuition is $125 per child. (limited to 4 spots)
