About this Event
Last month, the Scottish Government opened up a public consultation on our inshore Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and Priority Marine Features (PMFs). This means we get to have a say in how protected our waters should be!
Blue Marine Foundation is a conservation charity devoted to protecting 30 per cent of the ocean by 2030, promoting the creation of MPAs across the world. They are kindly facilitating this workshop, which will explore who depends on healthy seas, how MPAs work and how different fishing methods can interact with seabed habitats and wildlife!
This workshop will begin at 2pm on Friday 6th November, lasting around 90 minutes at the Marine Education Centre on Eyemouth High Street.
This workshop is aimed at younger people, however, if tickets remain available closer to the date, we will be opening it up to everyone and adapting the workshop!
Spaces are limited on this workshop, so please ensure you book through this Eventbrite link to secure your place!
