Margins & Museums Book Club: Pairing N.02 | Beauty
Pairing No. 02 brings together literature and art through a shared exploration of beauty, identity, and transformation.
For this edition of Margins & Museums, we’ll read Natural Beauty by Ling Ling Huang alongside The Cult of Beauty exhibition at CCCB.
Over the course of a few weeks, you are invited to read the novel, visit the exhibition at your own pace, and then join us for a guided discussion where we’ll explore the connections between the two. Together, we’ll consider how beauty is shaped by culture, desire, power, and the stories we tell ourselves.
Whether you’re an avid reader, a museum lover, or simply curious to experience art from a different perspective, this is an opportunity to slow down, look closer, and share thoughtful conversation with fellow book and art enthusiasts.
