The Manitou Summit Series is brought to you by the PARAB Community Grant Program, Colorado Springs Fjallraven Store & Rocky Mountain Ride.
Event Description: 3 guided hikes in Manitou Springs, all less than 4 miles, all with beautiful summits, all with transportation provided and ALL with pre-hike fikas!
*Fika is the beloved Swedish cultural tradition of taking a coffee and pastry break to socialize. Our local Fjallraven store is going to supply pastries & coffee (Fikas!) before each hike!
*Since each of these hikes provide a parking challenge we have also partnered with Rocky Mountain Ride for free on-site parking and transportation to and from the trailheads!
*UpaDowna received the Manitou Springs PARAB Community Grant, making it possible for these hikes to be FREE!
Dates: Iron Mountain on 9/26, Red Mountain on 10/24, Manitou Incline on 11/21
Times: Fikas served from 8-9am, depart for hikes at 9am sharp!
Meeting Point: All 3 hikes will start & end at Rocky Mountain Ride, free parking is available there and hikers will be shuttled to and from the trailheads.
Cost: FREE!
Please Bring/Wear: Comfortable shoes & clothing, water & snacks.

11/21 Manitou Incline Summit & Hike Down Barr Trail
Info: 11/21 Hike to the top of Manitou Incline: 4 miles roundtrip, after getting to the top of the Incline, participants will hike down Barr Trail. Option to hike down the Incline is available. Estimated duration is 3-4 hours.
