We wouldn’t be able to celebrate Christmas without our annual Gripmas games!We are marking the latest edition of the Gripmas games at our new home at the ETDL building together with memo warriors.
Itch those strongman itches one more time before Christmas and join in with the celebrations.
Food, hot and cold drinks and a licensed bar will be running through out the day!
10am meet and sign in for an 11am start.
£15pp for comp entry pay on the day come and have a go!
Trophies for top 3 and medals for participants.

Events-
The nutcracker!
This will be captains of crush grippers 50lb to 250lb round robin increasing resistance each time until last man standing in the case of a tie break it will be settled by repeated reps with tied weight and most repetitions wins.
Bauble hold-
This is a staple of the games.
100kg, 144kg or 188kg Dinnie stone hold for max time! Heavier weight trumps any time of lower weight.
Christmas cracker!
Dynamite stick lift round robin 5kg increments each round till last man standing.
Starting weight 30kg option to skip weights but last lifted weight will stand if any weight failed.
Last but not least…
The highly controversial Saxon bar lift!
Round robin lift starting at 20kg with 10kg increments until last man standing option to skip lifts but last weight lifted stands if any weight is failed.
All events will be chalk only!
No lifting straps allowed!
Sleeves, wrist supports, belts allowed.
