Our meetings are for everyone! We'd love to have you join our membership roster, but it is not required to attend. Come check us out! Besides great speakers every month, our meetings are filled with experienced beekeepers eager to answer your questions or just chat about our favorite topic - bees and their shenanigans! This month, we have the opportunity to learn about managing bee habitat from Andony Melathopoulis from OSU. Among his many other accomplishments and titles, he is the Pollinator Health Extension Specialist and has a wealth of knowledge to share with us! If you have heard of or participated in the Oregon Bee Atlas, Andony is a huge reason that exists, and if you haven't heard about it yet, be sure to ask him - it's the largest volunteer native bee inventory in the US and an exciting development in bee research.
