Families, join the Clyfford Still Museum for a FREE Maker Mornings workshop exploring movement and sound from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7. In response to our current exhibition, "Still in Sound," we will explore sounds in our galleries and make art together! This Maker Mornings session takes place on an SCFD Free Day; admission is free, and no registration is required.
Maker Mornings are designed for children ages 15 months to eight years old, with siblings of any age welcome. We spend time in the galleries with a librarian from Denver Public Libraries for storytime before entering The Making Space, the hands-on creation studio directly connected to our galleries. We explore various materials, expand our ideas of what it means to create, and express ourselves through art. This open-ended time is intentional, allowing all children to interact with the activities in their own unique ways. We encourage you to observe what your child gravitates towards, ask questions, and get curious.
