Make your own Spell Jars (Affirmation Jars)
Create your very own spell jar and fill it with a little bit of magic, meaning and intention. In this relaxed, creative workshop, you'll make a miniature spell jar using crystals, herbs, spices, candle wax, charms and symbols.
You'll start by choosing an affirmation or intention (something you want to invite into your life, celebrate or simply keep close) before designing your jar with colours, ingredients and symbols that connect with your chosen theme. Once your jar is complete, you can finish it with a wax seal and take your little creation home with you.
Whether you're a practising witch, a curious sceptic, a lover of folklore or just looking for an excuse to make something weird and wonderful, everyone is welcome.
No magical experience required.
About the Workshop Series
Spooky things are coming to SWAMP!
Join creatives from SP Square CIC as we create ghost buddies, cast spells and rob graves for inspiration. These four workshops are designed for people of all experiences and abilities to conjure their creativity and make a mess with confidence.
These sessions are delivered by trained artists and writers from Stravaig Creative Arts and Glasgow's City of Poets.
