Make Your Own Colourful Leather Necklace | Hide & Brass
A relaxed, creative workshop where you’ll design and make your own unique leather necklace using beautiful reclaimed leather offcuts.
Join Clair for a colourful and inspiring workshop exploring pattern, shape and colour as you create your own wearable piece of art.
You’ll choose from a selection of pre-cut leather shapes in a variety of colours, patterns and finishes, then experiment with different combinations to design a necklace that’s completely individual to you.
The leather pieces are made from offcuts left over from my bag-making process, giving beautiful materials a new lease of life.
What to expect
● Create your own single-strand leather necklace to take home.
● Choose from a colourful selection of hand-painted and patterned leather shapes.
● Experiment with colour, pattern and composition.
● Enjoy a relaxed, friendly and creative atmosphere.
● No previous experience or special skills required.
All materials and equipment are provided.
About Hide & Brass
I’m a leatherworker and designer with a background in Fine Art and a love of pattern, colour and sustainability.
Much of the patterned leather used in my work is hand-painted, making each piece distinctive and individual. I’m passionate about making the most of beautiful materials and finding creative ways to transform leftover leather into something new.
