American Mahjong 101: Instructed Play
Our first Mahjong nights sold out, so we’re bringing it back.
Join us at Farren’s for American Mahjong 101: Instructed Play with Bianca Green of CU at Monday Mahjong. This beginner-friendly evening is for anyone who has never played—or has been curious to finally learn.
Bianca will lead you through the fundamentals of American Mahjong in a relaxed, welcoming setting. You’ll learn the tiles, how to read the 2026 National Mah Jongg League card, the Charleston, basic gameplay, beginner strategy, and Mahjong etiquette through hands-on instruction.
Your ticket includes one house functional tea cocktail, and Mahjong boards will be provided. Please bring your 2026 National Mah Jongg League card for play.
Farren’s full food menu and additional drinks will be available for purchase. Drinks are welcome at the Mahjong tables; please enjoy food away from the boards.
Tickets: $45 per person
Capacity: Limited to 16 guests
Come learn something new, sip something good, and settle in for a fun night at the table.
