Tuesday Tiles & Tapas: Mahjong 101 at Metropolitan Café
Join Bamboo Babes Society for Tuesday Tiles & Tapas, a fun and beginner-friendly 3-week Mahjong 101 series at the beautiful Metropolitan Café in downtown Freehold. Enjoy an evening of learning, laughter, and great food and drinks in a stylish atmosphere while mastering America’s fastest-growing social game. Metropolitan Café is known for its upscale yet relaxed vibe, making it the perfect setting for a night out.
Over three sessions, you’ll learn:
* Week 1: Tile identification, reading the NMJL card, and building your first hands.
* Week 2: Review, the Charleston, calling tiles, and gameplay fundamentals.
* Week 3: Open Play - we guide you through it all.
We provide everything you need, including mahjong sets and NMJL cards…just bring yourself! Whether you’re coming with friends or flying solo, you’ll leave with a new hobby and a wonderful community. Series Price: $165 per person
