A new Monday night ritual at Tempo.
Hosted every other Monday at Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown, this new series brings together the classic game, good conversation, cocktails, and a shared charcuterie spread for a night that's as social as it is playful. Whether you're learning the game for the first time or already know your way around the tiles, choose the experience that's right for you.
BEGINNER SERIES | $80
New to Mah Jongg? Start with the two-part Beginner Series led by Fatema Chaklasi of Mah Jongg with the MahjChick.
The series is designed to take you from the basics to playing with confidence, with two 90-minute sessions held two weeks apart.
Your $80 ticket includes:
• Beginner I + Beginner II
• Two 90-minute instructional sessions
• Mah Jongg set use during instruction
• 1 alcoholic or n/a beverage from Lovelorn Lounge Bar
• Charcuterie board
• Complimentary valet parking

OPEN PLAY | $40
Already know how to play? Open Play is designed for players who understand the game and can participate independently. This is a social, self-directed experience rather than an instructional class.
Your $40 ticket includes:
• One Open Play evening
• 1 alcoholic or n/a beverage from Lovelorn Lounge Bar
• Access to Mah Jongg tables and sets
•Complimentary valet parking
Mah Jongg cards available for purchase for an additional cost during the lesson.
