Come join us on Thursday night to play some cEDH. For the next 7 weeks we are hosting a national league in conjunction with Jenes MTG to send 5 lucky finalists up to compete in a cEDH invitational event like no other! So what does this mean? It means that players will receive points for each week they play in the league. Players will also receive additional points for wins and remaining undefeated after the two rounds. At the end of the season on the 12th of November final points will be tallied with the top 5 players able to attend getting an invite to the Quickfire finals event in sunny Brisbane. A few other quick notes:
Players will be paired in pods as close to four as possible and will play 2 rounds of cEDH! Each pod will have a 85 min timer but as soon as the round timer goes off the round is over and if no winner is determined the game ends in a draw!
This league is run in our usual training night spot for cEDH this means the environment will feature new players consistently and we encourage you to play for fun. If you are a tournament grinder and miss out on one of the 5 finalist spots we encourage you to attend the last chance qualifier event the day before. If you play in an unsportsmanlike way you may face a penalty.
Proxies are allowed for this event on reserved list cards ONLY. See the list here: https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Reserved_List Proxies must be in full colour and regular size. We recommend printing off at Officeworks and placing in front of a regular MTG card
Players will receive booster packs from one of the latest sets as prizing for attending. With $5 from each entrant going towards our monthly cEDH store champs prize pool as has been with our training nights :)
