Commander Night is for everyone who enjoys playing Commander, whether you're just starting out or have been playing for years, but want to challenge some other decks. The main rule is: Keep it fun! We have Commander decks for beginners that you can use!Discuss with your table how strong everyone's decks are and what everyone expects from the game. This will prevent people from just playing for an hour.
What is Commander?
This format is for 3-4 players per game, and the deck size is 99 cards + 1 commander card. Playing time for this format should be approximately 20 minutes per player.
The Commander format is all about choosing your hero and building a deck around them. In this casual multiplayer format, you choose a legendary creature to serve as your Commander and build the rest of your deck around their color identity and unique abilities. Players may use only one of each card in their deck, except basic lands, but they can use cards from throughout Magic history.
