About this Event
Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian (VSGWL), in partnership with Carers Scotland and Carers of West Lothian, invites you to a free event exploring how employers can better recognise and support unpaid carers in the workplace.
Many people balance employment with caring responsibilities for a family member, friend or loved one. This event will provide an opportunity to hear about the experiences of working carers, learn about the support available and explore practical steps organisations can take to create a more carer-friendly workplace.
You will also learn about the Carer Positive Award, which recognises employers who provide a supportive working environment for employees who are also unpaid carers.
