Madrid Autonomous Mobility Summit 2026 (MAMS)

Autonomous mobility stops being a pilot and becomes a market in 2026. Madrid is where Europe's deployment, regulation and capital meet — and the Madrid Autonomous Mobility Summit (MAMS2026) is where the people building that market come together for two full days of keynotes, panels and networking.

📍 Green Patio, Madrid (venue site)

📅 27–28 October 2026

🌐 Bilingual event (EN/ES)

• Autonomous vehicles arrive in Madrid — Uber will deploy Autonomous vehicles in Madrid before the end of 2026 — alongside London and Munich — using the Nuro Driver SAE Level 4 platform on the Lucid Gravity.
• Europe's largest regulatory sandbox — The Villaverde Mobility Sandbox offers 20 km² of real urban environment for testing autonomous and connected mobility.
• Spain's first Level 4 autonomous bus — EMT put Spain's first SAE Level 4 autonomous bus into service in September 2025, rated 8.4/10 by users.
• A decisive regulatory year — 2026 brings the UNECE global regulation on ADS, the EU Automotive Industrial Action Plan and the DGT's ES-AV framework programme.

Six threads run through both days, from the global outlook to Madrid's own value chain:

1. The International Outlook of Autonomous Mobility — How China, the US and Europe are racing to scale AV adoption in 2026: data sovereignty, chip restrictions, global standards vs. EU regulation.
2. Lessons from Europe's Live Pilots — What London, Oslo and Leuven have learned about running autonomous services in real cities.
3. Regulation for Autonomous Mobility: From Europe to Spanish Law — A roadmap toward operative Level 4 regulation before 2028.
4. The Roadmap for Madrid: Lessons from European Pilots — What governance model, technology and network integration should Madrid choose, and do differently?
5. Autonomous Driving in Passenger Transport — Real-world lessons from operators already running Level 4 fleets.
6. Autonomous Mobility and Logistics: Transforming the Supply Chain — From last-mile urban delivery to interurban freight corridors and aerial cargo.
