Witness Opera's Future with historic Madison Avenue Baptist Church @ OPERA America in Manhattan on 9.27 | Tickets start at $25 • 7pm | Genre: Classical
Eight outstanding vocalists, selected through an international online audition process, will take the stage at the Rehearsal Hall at OPERA America for an evening of operatic arias and art songs by Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, and other great composers.
The concert also marks the beginning of a new season of the —a tuition-free, year-long training and performance program for aspiring vocalists sponsored by Madison Avenue Baptist Church.
Former fellows have gone on to perform at Carnegie Hall, the Aspen Music Festival, the Vienna Summer Music Festival, and the Asian International Music Festival, with professional engagements at organizations including Las Vegas Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, and the Boston Festival Orchestra.

Madison Avenue Baptist Church is a historic establishment in the heart of Manhattan. Their prestigious musical program, Madison Sounds, has witnessed the first performance of Jesus Christ Superstar as well as events with opera legends Olga Makarina, Mzia Nioradze, and Arthur Levy.
