There's more made on the Treasure Coast than most people realize. On October 7, come see it, and eat some barbecue while you're at it.The Treasure Coast Manufacturers Association (TCMA) hosts the Made on the Treasure Coast Manufacturing Showcase & BBQ on Wednesday, October 7, at the Eastman Advanced Workforce Development Complex in Fort Pierce. It kicks off National Manufacturing Month, and it's the one night the people who make things here are all in one room.
Last year just over 100 people came out. Maverick Boat Group, Hog Technologies, Phoenix Metal Products, and Expert Shutter Services set up displays, and the room filled with manufacturers and the people who do business with them.
You don't have to make anything to belong here. Bankers, CPAs, staffing pros, and anyone who wants to see what their neighbors build in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties are welcome. Your ticket covers the showcase, the BBQ dinner, and cold drinks.
