You're invited to celebrate the opening of MADE IT 2026, Short Supply's annual graduate arts programme championing the next generation of creative talent across the North West.
Join us at The Whitaker for an afternoon of art, conversation and celebration as we unveil this year's exhibition, meet the artists behind the work and announce the recipients of our 2026 Curator's Choice and Public Art Award.
MADE IT has always been about what happens next. That slightly terrifying, wildly exciting moment when you leave education and start figuring out what being an artist actually looks like. We're here to make sure emerging artists have somewhere to begin, somewhere to belong and somewhere to be seen.
This year's exhibition brings together a brilliant selection of artists from the graduating classes of 2025 and 2026, working across different disciplines, materials and ideas. Selected through our open call, their work offers a glimpse into the breadth of creative talent emerging from the region.
And this year, MADE IT is taking up more space than ever.
Alongside the exhibition, we'll be celebrating our growing programme of opportunities, including our new partnership with First Street, Manchester, which will see a MADE IT artist's work transformed into a major public art commission.
