MacPhail Presents: Havana Quartet: Walking through Cuba

Join us for a pre-concert reception in U.S. Bank lobby at MacPhail Minneapolis at 6:00 pm, catered by Milly's Wine Bar.

Walking Through Cuba traces a musical journey from Cuban classical traditions to bold contemporary works by a new generation of composers. Performed by the Havana Quartet, the program brings Afro-Cuban rhythms and iconic dance forms like cha-cha-chá, conga, and mambo into the string quartet tradition.
