The Clāritās Clarinet Quartet aims to introduce its audience to unknown repertoire of
the often-overlooked ensemble of four clarinets. We are formed of Royal Academy of
Music students in September 2024 and performed two concerts last academic year;
one in the Angela Burgess Recital Hall and one in the Regent Hall on Oxford Street. In
these concerts we performed Locomotion by Rhian Samuel, Vent by Graham Fitkin
and Histoire du Tango by Piazzolla. This year we hope to expand our repertoire further
with Claude Arrieu’s clarinet quartets and arrangements of a variety of choral music.
