About this Event
Tom Nelson has spent decades helping the church reconnect Sunday worship with Monday work. He is the founder and president of Made to Flourish, a national network that equips pastors to integrate faith, vocation, and economic wisdom so their congregations can contribute to the flourishing of their communities. Tom also serves as senior pastor of Christ Community Church in the Kansas City area, where much of his thinking on faith and work took shape in everyday congregational life.
Tom is the author of Work Matters, Why Your Work Matters, and The Economics of Neighborly Love. In these books Tom emphasized that our daily work is not a distraction from God’s purposes but a central place where we love our neighbors and join God’s renewal of the world. For founders and leaders building companies with kingdom purpose, he brings both a pastor’s heart and a clear, practical theology of work.
