Lunch with the League: What's on the Ballot?
Curious about what you’ll be voting on in NYC this November? Join us for Lunch with the League on October 20, 2026, as K’gnausa Yodkerepauprai and Ama Acquah of the NYC Campaign Finance Board break down “What’s on the Ballot?”. They’ll cover the offices up for election at the Federal, State and local levels, and then review five NYC ballot proposals. K’gnausa Yodkerepauprai is an Intergovernmental Affairs Analyst and Ama Acquah is a training specialist with the NYC Campaign Finance Board.
And then prepare for a lively discussion to follow:
- Could faster government approvals come at the cost of public input or oversight?
- Will streamlining housing, street-safety, and contracting projects speed up the process AND improve the outcomes?
- Should NYC set aside 12% of tax revenue for a rainy-day reserve, even when the city faces urgent spending needs? Is 12% enough?
Tickets: $25 in advance, $30 at the door
