It is a long time ago that I was able to plan a ride and I am very happy to be back on the roads again If you like and are free to ride during the week, you can join me on Monday, 5. October on a ride along the lower Coromandel Loop. One of my favourite ones.We have done this ride so many times and it is still a very nice one, not too long and not too short.
The usual stop at the Matatoki Cheese Barn Cafe for a coffee, we can even add more stops if you want, we may discuss that when we meet again.
Of course it is all weather permitted.
The weather forecast for Monday 5. September 26 is not too bad and I hope it will stay like that.
16 degrees, dry, low winds at 10km/h and a max. 10% chance of rain.
If we pick at meeting time not too early that gives everybody plenty of time to ride to Waihi in moderate temperatures and a rain chance between 1% and 4%. which means that 11:00 at the Waihi BP station should be a good time for all. The ride itself only takes around 2 hours at moderate speed plus the stop at the cafe.
