About this Event
The climate crisis is also a crisis of our emotions: global warming and its impact can make us feel angry, fearful, helpless, and more.
Love and Fear in a Warming World is a creative, facilitated experience in which the art is the process — and the group's shared making becomes the source of something new. Led by professional facilitators from Climate Shift CIC, and created in collaboration with Slam Out Loud (India), the session is designed so that everyone contributes and everyone belongs, regardless of artistic background or experience.
What previous participants have said:
- "I was able to park futility and move towards possibility."
- "That one workshop has triggered actions that have now gained a life of their own months later."
- "My understanding of my and others' feelings developed and with that came greater clarity about my own role and what I could do."
- "I still carry around, months later, the words I wrote to myself in the session."
What to expect:
- Expressive arts activities — accessible to everyone, no experience needed
- A genuinely collective experience: the group makes and discovers things together
- A safe, inclusive, professionally facilitated space where everyone feels heard
- Reduced climate anxiety, renewed agency, and a lasting sense of shared purpose
