We're thrilled to invite you to the 'Lone Wolf' Album Launch with Reid this summer!This will take place in our Chapel at The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine.What to expect from the evening? Imagine a pop-up music festival where every moment is fleeting but, unforgettable. Picture yourself in a field, surrounded by music and firelight, among strangers who somehow feel like old friends. The music plays softly, creating a cozy atmosphere that feels both ancient and welcoming.This is the world of 'Lone Wolf' - a mix of songs, poems, and stories in the alt folk genre.
About Reid:
Reid is an international artist working across the realms of film/ theatre/ music and spoken word. Born in Brighton, Reid trained in classical voice at Trinity College of Music and graduated with a BA in music theatre from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2012. in 2017, Reid was recognised by Screen International as a 'Star of Tomorrow' for her role of Sinaloa in Jason Coutland and Julia Halperin's 'Barracuda' and a few of the songs and poems in 'Lone Wolf' are directly inspired by Reid's time in Austin Texas making the film. Prior to the pandemic, Reid was touring with Sting in his musical 'The Last Ship' and in 2023 Reid premiered the world debut of the play 'Brokeback Mountain' alongside Mike Feist, Lucus Hedges and Eddi Reader. 'Lone Wolf' is her debut album with some the songs stemming back to when Reid first picked up the guitar aged 19.

BJ COLE
In a career stretching back to the mid-Sixties, BJ’s recording credits read like a who’s who’ of music (e.g. Sting, The Verve & Elton John). He has carved an outstanding reputation as the supreme innovator on the pedal steel; adapting it across numerous genres of music.
ANDREW STUART BUTTLE
Andrew is multi-instrumentalist, producer and arranger specialising in violin. He has toured extensively across the USA, Canada, South-East Asia, India & South America and most recently supported Ed Sheeran at The Albert Hall.
ALFIE WEEDON
On double bass, Alfie brings an international suite of influences: classical training at Wells Cathedral School, Latin with Cuban Double Bassist Michel Salazar, and two months studying with the Senegalese griot (traditional musical storytellers and poets). He has toured with Alt-J, performed at Latitude, The Great Escape and Blue Balls (Switzerland) and released two EP’s as a writer, backing vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with AK Patterson.
GREG MILLER
Named 2011 Blues Harmonica Player of the year, Greg is a multi-award winning harmonica player and Founder of The London Harmonica School.
He has opened for Van Morrison, marked the halls of venues such as Soho Place Theatre and Ain't Nothin' and most recently featured in the premier West End production of "Brokeback Mountain"
BILL GRIFFITHS
Both poetically and literally, Reid would not be here without Bill. From the saloons of Japan via the subways of Paris, from blues to classical, Bill has been playing guitar since he was 17 and has inspired much of Reid’s musical taste and singing style in her formative years - not to mention insuring correct grammar remains present throughout Reid’s lyrics.
There will be opportunity to enjoy food, drinks and and various theatrical support actst at the Yurt Cafe from 5.30pm, before the concert starts.
You will be able to purchase a signed copy of the vinyl album and arwork / lyric + chord books.
