Since 2019, Local Welcome, a national charity, have been organising and hosting meals for refugees and asylum seekers in Liverpool. Local people, volunteers and refugees get together and prepare and eat a meal at a local venue. It's a great opportunity to meet local people and other people new to Liverpool. It is also a great opportunity to practice your English language skills. You can get yourself a ticket for the event on the link below
