About this Event
Managing Time is the second workshop in Living Well with ADHD, a four-week adult ADHD life skills series.
Time blindness can make planning, estimating tasks, remembering appointments and moving between activities unexpectedly difficult. This practical session explores why conventional time-management advice often does not work well for ADHD brains—and what may work better.
We’ll cover:
- ADHD time blindness and the “now or not now” experience
- Underestimating how long tasks will take
- Losing time during tasks and transitions
- Backwards planning, visual reminders and realistic time buffers
- Creating flexible routines without expecting yourself to follow a perfect schedule
You’ll have time to identify where time regularly disappears for you and create a realistic plan for one recurring time-management difficulty.
About:
The workshop is led by Jennie Canty, a neurodivergent-specialist psychotherapist with both professional and lived experience of ADHD.
This is a friendly, practical session combining straightforward teaching, personal reflection and useful strategies. There is no pressure to speak or share personal information.
This workshop is for adults aged 18+. You do not need a formal ADHD diagnosis and are welcome if you are diagnosed, waiting for assessment or identify with ADHD traits.
This is an educational workshop rather than group therapy or individual clinical advice.
